Does anybody have any information about a knife maker names Sam Cox. I believe he is from the South Carolina area. Also I am looking for information regarding a knife maker from New Jersey named Fred Weber. Thank you

Google is your friend….took me all of 5 minutes. ;)

Fred Weber was a NJ maker and died years ago at age 92…

I've got one Sam Cox knife but had owned several. It's the first custom I ever bought, 1988. I think he made an exceptional knife, was also a maker of duck calls. My brother has one or two, one being a beautiful fighter with ivory micarta. I think New Graham Knives was dealer for him but Sam may have retired.

I have a couple of Fred Weber's knives. Wonderful man. The first time I met him I was 19 (1974). It was at the Glastonbury Ct Gun Show. He made some of the best tapered tangs in the business. His designs were clean, practical and affordable for a time period when custom knife prices were skyrocketing.
