San Francisco Bay Area knife shops

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know of a great knife shop in the SF Bay Area where I can see Rat knives and Fallkniven knives?

I have narrowed down my choice for knives to these two companies, but I really would like to handle the knives before spending the money.

My Choices are

a) A1 vs RC-6
b) F1 vs RC-4

If the others do not seem to hit the spot I may look at the S5. If you were buying a knife in these categories which would you pick?

Try calling "We Be Knives" on Pier 39 at the wharf in The City, pretty sure they carry Fallkniven but don't know about RAT. You could also try "TAD Gear".

I recall there was a shop in Oakland but never did visit it...
 
You might try The Gay Blade over near the bathhouses.

Just kidding, SF is the most beautiful city I ever saw. At least it was in 1967. I'm sure they have knife shops there.
 
try T.A.D. --the wife and I paid them a visit about 6 months ago on our vacation--Had a Great time there.
 
Oh, if you get down to the wharf stop by "Columbus Cutlery" in North Beach. Tiny shop and who knows what they have at any given time but it's been there selling and sharpening knives forever...
 
TAD gear is in SF now. They're knife selection is extremely limited and are mostly very high end "tactical" knives. They're personal collection is impressive.

We Be Knives carries a good selection, but at tourist prices. Good way to get a feel for a knife though.
