Hi guys!

I just finished this little rough workhorse.

In the center is silver steel (1.3 %C) at around 62 HRC and claddings are from “some old iron from behind the barn”.

Handle is from walnut tree and European beech (not stabilized).

Dimensions:

Blade length: 165 mm (6.5 inch)
Blade thickness: from 2.1 mm (0.0823 inch) tapering to 1.8 mm (0.07 inch)
Blade height at highest point: 52 mm (2.05 inch)

I tried it on onions before final finish and sharpening and it is a destroyer of vegetables :D

Final sharpening was on 8000 naniwa.

Price is 184 USD (everything included - paypal fee and postal service with tracking number)

Thanks for watching!

Exactly what I was looking for about a month and a half ago. Ended up buying a Takeda, but I wish it had been this instead. It looks fantastic.

If it's still here after a few days, I'll probably cave.

Very very nice work! Your attention to detail is great, I love the chamfer at the front of the walnut spacer. On top of that, the price can't be beat, GLWS!
