Hey guys,

I'm comparing a few titanium finishes and want to know if anyone had any experiences with vapor, sand, glass bead, or any other blasted finishes and how they feel. My only experience has been feeling a Sebenza.

Never heard of vapor blasting... A sebenza is sandblasted (matte) and beadblasting will leave a more satin finish.

Sand/bead blasting results are also highly variable depending on air pressure.

We use CO2 vapor blasting (dry ice for the media) at work to clean the boiler tubes, it's by far the least aggressive...pretty much doesn't change the surface finish.

The pressure should be turned way down for glass beads. If it’s ran to high then the glass fractures and leave a finish like sand blasting. But it destroys the media and you end up with a ton of dust.

Interesting... I normally blast with 100psi for both alox and glass and haven't had issues. What do you recommend for glass?
