I am trying to find ultra fine grit made specifically to fit the mouse sander. With my bigger palm sander I just get sheets from 800-2000 to use for removing some coating, etc and come out with a higher shine. However, I am finding it tough to do so with the mouse sander by Black and Decker. Any ideas what vendors would carr that?
Do you use water for the paper, or just apply a paste to the blade first?

I've found 240 grit before, but that's about as fine as I've found. Apparently B&D doesn't make a finer grit than that. You can get single "0" steel wool for the Mouse, and I have an old white polishing pad that I never used. The mouse was/is a good idea, but I wish B&D would make more grits and abrasive materials available for it.

An idea I found on the interwebz a while back involved using velcro pieces cut into strips and stuck to the sander & abrasive, similar to this:
