Here are the 3 mods I did to mine that makes a big difference.
1. The guys at Strider wanted it done but Buck didnt do it which was to round off all the corners...This only took me at tops 15-20min to do with some sandpaper.
2. Another 10min with some Metal Glow paste to rub off the rust magnet coating on the blade and clip (the bead blast finish).
3. Removed the thumb stud and removed the "edge"...The thumbstud was almost as sharp as the blade! Looks and feels great now. Joe Houser told me at the NKCA show last week that he is going to have the folks at Buck look at this and try to have them changed.
Some very easy mods to make, but they make a difference.
