I'm quite fond of the schrade SCHF1, had one for a while now. So far this is the only hollow handled knife I've ever liked.
Anyone have any recommendations on any knives similar to this?
if you haven't seen or heard of this knife before check out noss's knife test of it, it did surprisingly well!

Could try the Chris Reeve Project 1. Pretty sure that's where they "borrowed" the design from.

Please define what you mean by "similar," if you would.

There's a ton of hollow-handle Rambo-style survival knives still being made...are you talking about that kinda stuff?

As far as I know, that one and the CRK are the only ones that are one solid piece. A lot of the hollow handled knives out there are two pieces joined and they break very easily

FYI, Mistwalker tested that Schrade Project 1 copy and IIRC it held up fine.

basically knives that are one solid piece of steel, hollowedhandled and similar blade profile to the schrade.

thats what I thought, i've looked around a bit but cant seem to find much out there..an the CRK is a bit outta my budget right now as i just went knife crazy over the last 2 months:eek:
