I recently acquired this SW 25OT pattern knife which has TC fused to the skinning blade as well as the Everlast Edge, Tungsten Carbide etch. I have never seen or read anything here or elsewhere about Schrade ever making a folder with tungsten carbide. The tang does not have a model number stamped on it and the oval shield is blank. I have copies of the 147STC & 148STC but would appreciate any information someone may have on this folding hunter. Perhaps a prototype? Photos attached, Thanks!

That is too cool. I had only seen the very recent TC knives that are on the very bleeding edge of technology. Are blades like this with a TC edge but a steel blade common?

That's certainly possible Phil, one is never quite sure with Schrade. The only thing I found was this 1965 price list from Collectors of Schrade which has a 225TC typed in.
