Has anyone on here had any experience whatsoever with Scorpion Six Knives? (Google them on Instagram)

I like the guy's unique designs and he seems like a recent veteran owned start-up. I know some might not like the designs, but they look like nice light EDC knives. They are more whimsical than tactical, and I like that.

So, why am I hesitant you might ask? I remember there used to be a guy who was banned from here with a very similar name, and that has given me pause for concern.

If anyone knows anything about this guy and his knives, I would love to hear it.
 
Read that an a few more, doesn't really tell me is S6 is RS6. Which is what I am trying to determine. RS6 was famous for his tracker/WSK variants and not delivering. I haven't seen any threads on him since about 2012, S6 came online like 2015 from what I understand.

Whew! Glad my friend notified me of this! I am the owner of Scorpion 6 Knives and I am not associated what-so-ever to the RS6 or Red Scorpion 6. It's a shame because I really liked my company name until I read this thread lol. Scorpion was the name of the element I served along side with in Afghanistan. The number 6 would be the commander identifier, so I chose Scorpion 6 for my company name. I am such a new start up I wouldn't even consider myself a start up yet. I have over 3 years of professional knife making experience and just started to offer my knives for sale. Instagram is my only link to the knife world right now as I am working on a website and Facebook currently.

If there are any other questions or anything else I can do to help clear the air of this other company please let me know! Thanks Everyone. Please don't ban me.
 
hi guys, some guy youve never heard of says some guy that youve also never heard of is a stand up guy!

no offense to the scorpions but perhaps they should just pump out some content and let the customers weight in.

Yeah. After Red Scorpion 6's history of making multiple accounts, the fact that MRKNIFEAZ, joined, posted, and split in the course of a couple minutes seems kinda suspect. :confused:

I don't know if they are the same guy, the knives are quite different. RS6 seems to have disappeared a couple years ago or more, no doubt due to lack of interest. This new guy has a much different aesthetic, but the knives with a floating unsupported edge and integral stress riser have to be the worst idea I have ever seen. No mention of blade steel, very optimistic pricing.
