scratches

any of you guys got any ideas on how to get rid of most scratches on the crystal of a watch? my work watch scratched all to hell ( duh ! ). its a BULOVA military repro. great watch. thanks . paul

Toothpaste works. There are other polishes that might be a little faster, but ordinary toothpaste works so well I haven't bothered to try anything else.

Green chromium oxide should work too. Followed by toothpaste. But no need unless you have bad scratches.

I use a buffing stick made for fingernails. The coarser side for removing deep scratches and the fine side for polishing them out.
