Has anybody done any modifications to there sebenza out there, like modify the hardware looks, blade, handles? ect. ect. I hear of alot of people polishing the washers. Whats the best way to do this? Has anybody tryed to make a set of perforated washers for you seb, like the umm has? Include pics of your mods.

I didn't modify these myself but a fella by the name of Tom Mayo did and they came out a little better then if I had done them :D

I love those thumb lugs! Do the lugs on the seb screw in or are they press fit?

Re: polished washers, the thing is if you remove to much material your in trouble.
Here is on I did myself. I Really LOVE the balanced feel it now has.

I satin-polished both scales & clip on mine, feels better in the hand (smudges are just smudges).

I like the holes too - but what I wish I had done, in retrospect, was the cool grip sculpting this other fellow did . . . .

If anyone is interested in my work, I have been modding Sebenzas and other high quality productions and customs for at least 5 years. Any CRK mod that I've done, I've posted here. So I suppose a guy with a lot of time could start looking backwards:p

I'm just wondering how the fit between the blade, washer and new scale is when you guys replace the standard front scales with G10 etc??

How do you manage to keep the fine tolerances and not have blade play?

If the scale is flat on the inside (and it is by default) than it's as goood as Ti. I have ZERO blade play. The tollerances are in the blade/washers/pivot/bushing and not in scales as such. Scales just need to be FLAT :)
