I live in NYC and the Jerry Seinfeld TV show was supposed to be in NYC.
The stopped making new epsiodes years ago, but the show is still on here.
There are some nights that there are 2 hours of Seinfeld, on two different stations. I've seen episodes on four different tv stations. I've seen every episode many times. I love the show.

My question are:
Is Seinfeld on where you are?
How many times a night?
Do you watch?
Or is it just tooo much of a New York thing?

Washington State - yes it is, 2 stations that I know of where I live, seen 'em all. I still stop and watch if I come across it while channel surfing...

CT - I was a NYr so I watch still. 3 hours/2 channels. More if you go upstate and still get southern CT stations.
Everybody Loves Raymond is based in Lynbrook which is the next town from where I lived on LI.

It's on here alot. it seems like everytime I am channel surfing I see it on. I watch it once in a while. Good show.

On 3 channels, different times my area. Like the Simpsons it's on my list of shows I can watch over and over:)

Seinfeld was originally on NBC. It then went into reruns on WPIX. Now it's on FOX and TBS here in NYC.

IIRC, it didn't start out as a hit, but over time it got really big. I'll have it on at 7PM and again at 11PM on FOX. Like I said I've seen every episode, so I'll only pay enough attention to see what episode it is.
I find it interesting how many little catch phrases it generated, (like Master of My Domain or Yada, yada, yada).

It on everyday on at least one channel here in Louisville, KY. Great show!

I am also a big fan of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on HBO which was created by and stars Larry David who created the Seinfeld series.

It's on twice a day (6:30PM & 11PM) monday thru Friday in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.

Seinfeld is one of the best (if not the best) sit-coms of all time.

Ditto on Curb Your Enthusiam.

Ya know what's fun is when you catch Larry David when he appears in a Seinfeld episode. For example there's a show where Jerry and Ellaine see George's father talking to a guy in a cape, that's Larry in the cape. It turns out that he's a divorce attorney that Frank is consulting with. They never did explain why he was in a cape.

Curb Your Enthusiam, is very funny.

Québec, Canada..it's on about 5 times a day on top of owning the dvds and I loved this show for years!!! Unfortunately most people speak french up here, so I'm always laughing alone in my room like an idiot!!!

I live in Ontario Canada. That show must be on about a half dozen times a day, on various channels. I love it, it's one of those shows thats just so good, that despite seeing every damn episode since the early 90's, it's still entertaining to see George be cheap on resteraunt bills and Kramer do...well, anything.

In one episode, he plays a vendor inside an enclosed newspaper kiosk.

(CYE has become my favorite show of all time, although many people find it an acquired taste. Spiritually, not physically, I am Larry David and Larry David is me.)

It's a brilliant show with a growth story that is captivating. In the first year the show was on the edge of being canned all the time. The first pilot episode didn't even have Elaine, but they realized they needed the female chum to round it out. Great call.

The underlying brilliance is how the later shows blend three ongoing little sagas into one ending that merges. The overlying brilliance is the lines and the acting.

I get the same channels as NYC, so it's on often on different sources. My fave is to watch Jeopardy and then Seinfeld.

I once heard a show on the radio. It was INCREDIBLY suited to the radio also, as the talk is so animated. I only wish it would be on AM radio 24/7. That would make my driving more fun.... ;) :D

We have Seinfeld at least once a week on two channels here.

As Coop said, the intertwining of the separate plots is brilliant. All are excellent actors (except Seinfeld himself). My favourites are George, his parents and Newman. :D

I agree- I have seen all of them, and it doesn't stop me from watching the show. What really amazes me is that, however funny the antics of George, Kramer, and Elaine are---they never made it by themselves.

Newman!

The embodiment of evil. I wonder how his post office antics, desgined to reinforce the most negative ideas of the American public vis-a-vis the USPS, resonated with Esav?

He was a great character.

On one cable channel we get two "Seinfeld" episodes back to back every evening around dinner time, then another one later in the evening.

Superb writing, great acting (except for Jerry - but he makes up for it by being a great stand-up performer).

And....the most disappointing, over-hyped "Series Final Episode" ever!!!! :barf: (The greatest, of course, was the final episode of "M.A.S.H." :D )

Don't forget about Slippery Pete.

"Schlomo: He looks like a frog."
"Pete: So do you."

"Outlets? Oh, you mean the holes."
