Sending to Benchmade?

I was wondering what the general time line is for sending a knife back to Benchmade? Do they tell you when it was received? I sent in a bugout last week because the lock bar was galling and haven’t heard back yet. Tracking says it was delivered. So just curious what usually happens? Thanks

They send an email when they open your box and log the knife into their system, recently it took them between 3 and 5 business days from when it was delivered to sending me an email. It will probably take another week for the repair after that. Overall I've found their warranty communication to be better than most other companies'.
