I just looked at the Benchmade website, and could not find the Sequel. I knew that the Axis Mini Stryker was discontinued, but was surprised to fail to find the Sequel.

It has (according to KW website). Although there is a Shot Show 707 being put out.

Benchmade 707-1701 SEQUEL SHOT-SHOW LIMITED EDITION looks real nice in S30V and Blue Anodized and Milled Aluminum. At $204 it's pricey but I'll probably get one. Can't beat the size and weight.

About three years ago I got a Sequel 707-1201 with M390, Blue Anodized Aluminum & CF Inlay from Matt's Shooting Supplies for about $215 and I thought that was excessive.

The 707 is one of the few benchmades other than a grip I thought I would actually pony up for the butterfly premium, at least for a user. Admittedly, a lot of that's based on the knife laws in my area. Hopefully I can snag one up before they disappear when I get the funds.

The Sequel and Mini Axis Stryker are disappearing fast, and a number of vendors have them on clearance. I paid full MAP for the mini Axis Stryker a short time ago - 2 weeks. They are heavily discounted now, when they can be found. I wouldn't wait, if you want one.

Would also be interested in another Sequel with G10 scales...

That's a very handsome knife. Lets hope the F&F is better than the 707 I owned years ago. Really wanted to like it, and did as far as the overall design was concerned, but the scale rubbing and wobbly blade made it go bye bye. I'll have to keep my eye on the secondary after initial reports are in.

It's a shame, the 707 is such a great small folder. I do like the looks of the new LE, the 697 looks good without the inlays.

Sad but with 154CM it was only more expensive mini Griptilian without lanyard hole.

At $140.25 for 154CM and aluminum it was too expensive. Right now, KnifeWorks has it at the discontinued/discounted price of $109.95.

I may pick up the last sequel. I wish the last Sequel was in M390 or 20CV steel with G10 scales.
While not full G-10, I do have a silver/blue twill M390 version. Probably in my top two daily carry favorites.

A Sequel in G10?....

Those do look great Keyman! I especially like the 2nd to last pic with LSCF! You're right, I should pick up a standard Sequel and send it to you. It's on the list for this yr, before they disappear

Is the one on the right 705 scales or some you made? I think I put a sequel blade in some 705 scales once to see if it would work. If I remember correctly it did, I'd have to check again to make sure though.

There was also this little guy...Blackwater Gear's rendition of the 707 (Model #16707). The blade is obviously different but the shape of the scales is the same and it's all g-10.
