    and you wont HAVE to go far if shtf, wont need a vehicle and wont need to carry a lot of stuff. Stay underground during daylight hours. Don't get noticed and you wont get shot. All it takes to stop every vehicle on the road is some sticks with nails in them. The piled up cars wont let other vehicles get by. Ambushers will shoot up those in the cars as they stop, try to turn around, etc. So the only travel that's going to be halfway safe, if shtf is walking or mountain biking, at night, off road.

    If it aint shtf, why don't you just use your rental satellite phone to call for help? Too cheap, lazy or dumb to have one?

    Well he didn't survive here long. For someone who talked a lot about survival, perhaps there are some lessons there.
