I modified this Cold Steel 1917 Frontier Bowie by doing the following to it...
*removed the bluing from it's blade.
*Gave the blade a hand done fine brushed sheen finish.
*Convexed it's cutting edge.
I've said it in the past, there are quite a few fixed blade knives offered by Cold Steel that I feel would be excellent candidates for aftermarket handle/grip offerings. The Frontier Bowie would be one of those knives. I wish someone would start offering them at some point.
The Tai Pan and Master Tanto would be two other models that would be fun to pop on new aftermarket grips upon
