I was just thinking it would be nice to have a sharp in. Where a bunch of people could get together and demonstrate the way they sharpen and people showing different equipment and methods. People could bring their hard to sharpen knives and see how someone is able to make it shaving sharp.
Have people using paper wheels, belt grinders, lansky's and other clamp systems , sharpmakers, edge pro etc, free hand and convex sharpening on sandpaper. I am sure I left some method out.

that would be pretty cool, but probably hard to get people to a place solely for sharpening...

if it was part of a larger event, then i could see it happening.

i think it could be really cool though, if someone could make it happen.
