T tiguy7 Thank you.

Filework OR storytelling? Both. Look deeply. Richard S. Wright (Facebook) is a veteran maker of SERIOUS renown in the New England area.

This has a bolster pivot for a powerful automatic release. Press upwards on that damascus bolster to POW! it out to open.

The figurine is a tribute to the late William Willy McHenry, a mentor and friend to all in that area.

Knife: Dress Automatic Folder
Model: Serial No. 334 Model 10

Material: Ladder Damascus
Bolster: Ladder Damascus and Sterling silver composite
Handle: Coffee colored Mammoth Ivory

Knives as Billboards. I like it. When I was a kid, the nearby Olsen Knife Company put spaced advertising signs along side the highways ala Burma Shave. Example: Fatty Fatty...Run For Your Life...Here Comes Skinny...With an Olsen Knife.
