Photos SharpByCoop's Gallery of Handmade Knives

I rarely get feedback from these posts, and I cannot tell if the 'view count' is growing, as it's STUCK at 3-million! HA! (A first class problem.)

LMK if you browse? Do these work for you? Is it a resource for Bladeforums?

Thank you.
Absolutely, it is a necessary part of this site!!!

'Unknown maker' Ed Burke from CT. I posted two katanas last week from this talented maker.

Talk about variety! Here's a batch of sculpted folders, mostly automatics he's ALSO created.

He's never set up at a show, been online, or even sold one of these. Been doing this for 20+ years. Mentored under Richard Wright.

Mind = BLOWN!

Note: THIS knife and post has more LIKES than anything else in 2021 on my 104k-follower IG. That's something!

STOP scrolling! 🛑 @ApplebyKnives created a version of retired maker Tom Maringer's 'Haiku' fighter.

Not only incredibly complex, but capable of being disassembled. That fancy driver pivots like a screwdriver or a T handle.

I have photographed over 15,000 knives. Some of them MUCH more memorable than others. Case in point.

Wow.

18-yr-old TALENTED maker Julian @JCC_Cutlery makes us *applaud* with his visions.

READ more:

Model: "Mondrian Rose"- Chef's Knife
BL/OAL: 9.5"/14.5"
Material: 52100
Handle: Ebony with a wood mosaic inlay comprised of Redheart, Yellowheart, Holly, and Blue Mahoe
Sheath: JCC Cutlery
Knife Comments: My name is Julian Cunningham and I am an 18 year old knife maker from Washington D.C. This project marks one of the last knives I've made before heading off to college to study Industrial Design.

My goal for this piece was to take my first major step towards making pieces that can be considered "art knives" while still maintaining a highly usable design. This is what I want the future of JCC Cutlery to look like.

Imagine having this level of talent and skill, and making them for enjoyment, not for sale!!

Thanks for keeping us in the good stuff, picture wise. So much output it is hard to comment frequently without saying the same things over and over.....

But we all enjoy this thread regularly!!

Thanks Coop!!

My thoughts mirror the gentleman above!!! I so look forward to seeing what you post here and was disheartened for a good while while this thread fell by the wayside!!
Thank you very much for taking your precious time and filling this thread with the stuff of our dreams!!!
