I have a new Big Country Kampr which has a convex edge. Is there anything different about sharpening it with the Sharpmaker 204?(It looks so tough, it may never need sharpening, but I still need to know!)

AlaChoctaw - Sharpening the edge should present no problem for the Sharpmaker, but the very edge will no longer be convex.

Losing a little bit of the convex edge is no problem to me.In fact, I have purchased a strop and some compound for minor sharpening, so I would need the Sharpmaker only if I really get it dull,in which case I just want it sharp again. Thanks, Sal, and may God bless.
