Sharpest KNIFE out of the box

Well honestly have had Spydies, BM, Kershaw, HK, CRK (worst when it comes sharp out of the box), Shirogorovs (95T and Neon) and most were about same with some exceptions.

I would have to say my Shirogorov 95T was sharpest. The guilitine like free fall cut me soooo many times. However, the Neon Lite with S90V was exact opposite, probably the least sharpest out of box. Anything that is belt grinded will have flaws here and there as it is human to err.

Second closest in sharpness would have to be my Bechmade 940-1. Im on love with S90V. My favorite steel too bad its not that polishable.

Im a little baffled (more like disappointed) when it comes to CRK though, Have had the micarta, CF, box elder, plain jane and all where OK and its kinda funny reading the pamphlet about the sharp edge.

Regular s30v Spyderco pm2 that came back after I sent another one to Colorado, because it was sloppy.

This knife will cut things it has not even touched yet! haha

Joking aside, it's scary sharp... I am VERY careful with it

Never handled one but heard alllll around pretty much everywhere YT, Forums and such that it was the sharpest knife they have ever handled period. Gotta say the Japanese are best in the world when it comes to quality sharp objects. Their traditions and attn to detail is noteworthy

For real, I mean you can sharpen a butter knife to be crazy sharp for a cut or two, but from the best I can tell so far Rocksteads come dangerously sharp and stay that way :)

I have heard Rockstead, and Bradford. Just ordered a Bradford today, so we will see.

Oh, an my Manix 2 Maxamet came extremely sharp out of the box!

Mine were either the ZDP Calys from Spyderco, or the M390 Ritter Mini Griptillian. All of those cut of their own free will.

Worst.....by far.....CKF Sukhoi 2.0. It came without an edge.....literally.
A few that came insanely sharp:
Blurple Manix & PM2.....nice even edges oand incredibly screaming sharp!
BM.......Cutlery Shoppe Exclusive Rift.....damn!
BM.....761 sharpest out of box!
Mcusta Katana.....WOW!!!!
Brous.....Bionic 2.0.....that one surprised me!

Custom: Big Chris and D. Farmer. Both come with crazy sharp edges. Factory: Cold Steel Recon tanto in 3V. Hair popping sharp from top to bottom... lots can shave from the factory but this one is on another level.

Best grind out of the box:
Tie up between Emerson Super Roadhouse and Benchmade Griptilian HG. Good job!

Worst:
mmm honestly I have no idea, most grinds on big names are at least decent.
Let's say I'm not impressed by my Chaves, despite how much I love this knife to the bone. I actually want to buy another one just so I can grind it to my standards haha
Second disappointment was the Zaan. I can't grind it either as I'm considering selling it, and for sure I won't buy another one.

My Spyderco Manix and PM2 models that I bought new have all come sharp out of the box, I can't say that any one was sharper than the other.
