Shear steel knife...

This is one I forged from the rusty old saw steel I had used on my previous smaller knives. I held the mustard on this one and just did a straight etch on it. Turns out the rusty saw steel I was using is shear steel and has a very interesting pattern to it simular to JD's hammer steel and wootz. This one has a 6 1/4" blade, blackwood handle with wrought iron fittings and is just over 11" in length.

Once again, a superb job. I really like the overall look with the wrought iron and Blackwood. Very nice.
