Hi folks, just a heads-up that the Shenandoah three day knife show in Harrisonburg, VA is next weekend. This has become one of the best and largest shows in the east and I hope to see some of you there. I'll be set up with two tables of mostly antique folders and fixed blades along with some US WW2 knives for sale, trade, or just show and tell. Stop by my tables to say hello. Gonna be a great knife weekend!!

Wish I could make it. I will be in the area the first week of June. 
Other than the many historical sites, etc., are there any good places for a Knife Knut to visit while there? I recall going to a big "antique mall" kind of place last time I was there. They had several knives but they were all random and spread out over the different vendors.

I'm from NY so I can't really help you out with local knife shops, maybe a local person will chime in. I have also been to the big antique and gift place there, it is near the fairgrounds where the knife show is. You are correct, there will be some knives in there but the ones I saw there were well worn and overpriced as are many knives seen in antique malls. I am sure any good ones there if there are any will be snatched up by guys attending the show. Of course maybe by June a vendor inside may have found some new stuff so it may be worth checking the place out anyways, you never know.
