I thought I would share this hear as a I think quite a few of you may like this as a carry system for your tomahawks.

This is a shoulder harness based on Tom Maringers shoulder rig design. Once they are ready, I will offer them with the Vorpals I make and also as a stand alone for mine and other makers knives. This is a prototype and I should have some available soon. These are a great way to carry either knives or tomahawks underarm. It is fairly universal as the snaps are attached via screws to the sheath. The pull the dot snaps means it stays in place until you want to remove the sheath.
Here is a video showing how it is carried and blades can be deployed very quickly. These will work best on pancake style sheaths where the snaps can be attached to the non edge side of the sheath. This helps keep the sheath from twisting.
Let me know your thoughts!

Hi Ben.... a very impressive and functional design! It is just what I’m seeking for my Winkler Stealth axe. When will they be available? What site should I monitor to know when one can be ordered?

Thanks Keith. I'm hoping to have some by the end of year. I will post more info here and on Instagram when they are ready to go. If you want to send me your email, I can add you to the wait list.

This looks really neat. I edc a fixed blade usually iwb left back hip with a pistol opposite. This would get another thing off my belt. I've tried rigging my own with binocular straps but this looks much better. What is pricing looking like? Do keep us posted.

I like large eyelets in pancake sheaths for large, heavy knives as they will fit a simple sling quite easily, and can be worn diagonally across the back. Tie a retention loop and one handed access is exceptional. This is a great idea for tomahawks! My current waist loop carry limits the weight (and consequently edge length) of a hawk I can carry dramatically.

Thanks guys, I have 50 in the works. I'll post more info and pics when they are available.

These are now available. The first run is nearly sold out, but I have a few left.

Here is another video showing how it mounts and what's included.
