I'm looking at getting some new paracord colors/ patterns. If you have a particular color or pattern you like, post it up. Bonus points if you know the name.

Shame no one picked up yet.
Allow me.

I'm pretty basic. Blue and Black. It wasn't until after I made this one that I learned what "The Thin Blue Line " is.
Hey, at least I know now.
That's the name of the pattern shown by the way. I just came up with what I wanted to look at and then went on YouTube to see how to do it.

Hey check out this monster "Cuff".
I might try that next.

I also heard some where of a guy who make an entire back pack out of paracord. I probably won't go there.

And you ? ? ?
You haven't posted any colors/patterns . . .

Basic OD green on my CRKT Stiff KISS

And wrapped around my Estwing axe

My father-in-law acquired all the cord off of an old Army chute that was given to his Civil Air Patrol unit for rescue sims. I've since acquired a ton of it - all in 20' to 30' sections. So everything I wrap is in OD green.... :p

The knife has about 4' - 6' and the axe has close to 75' if you include the lanyard.

the endura has a small lanyard hole, most users pull 1 paracord string through. disadvantage, it's difficult to remove the lanyard. so i invented this method: gutting the paracord! then one can pull through 2 strings through the small hole. Very easily. disadvantage, the cord profile flattens out, becomes 2-dimensional, when the knot is tightened.

what's the problem. the strings don't stay in place but can shift on top of each other, get stacked. also makes it difficult to tighten the knot regularly. advantages, the total dimensions of the knot are smaller, compacter, slimmer. more light weight. but above all, the lanyard can be removed without cutting the cord or disassembling the knot. to me, more advantages than disadvantages. just look at the result, my first paracord work ever!, doesn't look bad at all. I wanted the knot to be as close to the handle as possible. done. happy camper.

the black lanyard material —this small lanyard unfolds to 1.5m cord length!— was from unfolding a paracord bracelet which i got in a private shipment as personal useless gift. problem, if a lanyard was used in a knotting work before, i can't recommend reusing the cord as i just did. used cord isn't straight anymore, not nice looking, and has a deformed profile. also, i wouldn't have chosen black as color. incidentally, the black matches the color of the endura clip. okay.

maybe i'll do another paracord work for my custom titanium pm2. then with brandnew paracord material, ungutted, and in nice colors. but i am not really willing to spend time on paracord work; i have other things to do like watching ATP live sorry. as i said, i only did this first time work because i had 'scrap material' (original paracord quality!) lying around and didn't want to let the bracelet go to waste.

i am not a wasteful person. keep in mind.
