Dull light but here goes. New Farmer X in hard use test. Removed the lanyard ring thing that just annoys me.

It's the harvester & didn't have the key ring lug. If I removed it half the scale would probably be missing

Lol, thought it was a Farmer who's saw can be uncomfortable to use because of the key ring.

You're not wrong there , I had a Farmer repaired (broke the awl in a fit of stupidity:dont try and pry the lock pins out of forklift forks, the awl doesn't like it) and they replaced the keyring as well as the awl. Now torn with indecision whether to re remove it or leave it in case I need to attach it (for heights work etc)

Thanks for the warning. If the awl hadn't broke you'd have been the hero.

Went thru the same keyring dilemma. Long story short; ground it off and bought another leaving it on.
Still like the smooth one best but... safety first.
