I have a few. Not much story, Heath Stone put new handles on the Bass and Turkey 501's, other two just came across in trades over the past few years.

Only one, first knife I ever traded for, probably eight years ago. This one is fairly early (late 1970's - early 1980's) with the stainless frame and bolsters (but not the first, it lacks the through the handle rocker pin) . I belt carry it in a small black Buck leather sheath when hiking or fishing. OH

I only have 2 Buck 501's. One of them is an older micarta scaled model that was re-bladed and the second is from the custom shop. Buffalo horn for the scales and S30v blade steel. A very nice knife.
