Signature blocks and mobile devices

By forum design, are signature blocks NOT supposed to display when viewing the forum from a mobile device? Was recently having a DM exchange with a member and told him he could view my knife collection on IG using the link in my signature block. He told me he saw no signature block. Now, my eyes have degraded over the years and I rarely, if ever, view BF via my mobile device. Screen is too small. Always access the site via my desktop computer ... where signature blocks are always visible. I checked the site with my phone and sure enough, signature blocks do not appear. I keep info in my sig block that is important to me and helpful to others (including how to contact me by email). I have checked all my prefs and the only one I can find that relates is one to view others signature blocks in messages. That one is appropriately checked. So ... is the deal that sig blocks are only visible on desktops and not mobile devices ... or am I (and the BF member I with whom I was messaging) doing something wrong?

They are visible on mobile devices if you rotate the device to landscape mode, but on standard view they clutter screen too much and are thus not displayed.

Thanks. NEVER, would I ever have figured that out. I've done an exhaustive search and found nothing on this. Is it covered in a faq or something I missed ... or something that is just learned through use?

Something that people discovered through use and have spread through word-of-mouth, don't think there was ever an official comprehensive overview of the design features of the site.
