Small EDC/Neck knife recommendations

So, I have a thing for smaller knives, and I actually prefer to carry them in my pocket rather than around my neck. I have the Becker models, a Survive! Necker, an Izula, and a Brous blades neck knife. I'm looking for a new one. I have my eye on the Les George Sabot. I do want a good steel, and I also want something with a good finger guard or ring to keep my finger from sliding up. I also want something fairly light. Use will be simple EDC tasks, it should be capable of being a self-defense tool in the unlikely scenario it is needed for that, and it will be a backup hiking blade. Mostly though, it is just for fun since I like to see how much usefulness can be packed into a small package.

Any experience with the Sabot, or any other recommendations?

I am a big fan of Amsler knives, for small pocketable fixed blades. Here is mine; it is a Ti. VAL.

I like these suggestions! Looking into the Medford and CRK right now. That Amsler fixed blade is nice as well. I wasn't aware there was such a variety of options for these!

Have a look at the Emerson Lagriffe, or one of the various Perrin Lagriffes.

Also, HideAway knives are awesome when you can find them.

I have a CRK Professional Soldier which is a good knife but I think it is a little long for pocket carry.
I can suggest a Freeman neck knife which I think is very good and suitable for pocket carry as this is how I carry it.

Bradford Guardian 3, Tactical Pterodactyl Mini Unnamed model(Mod Raptor), Wilmont Grinders K25 or EDC, Evans Knife and Tool Companion, love them all.

Bradford G3, LT Wright Patriot, Dozier Modified Personal, BRKT Mini Fox river, Malanika EDC/neck, Daniel Fairly EDC Wharncliffe (doesn't quite fit my hand right; but still a great option)

I'm really enjoying my Daniel Fairly "Compact EDC":

Never heard of the Wilmont K25m, but I love the looks of it. I think that it is currently my top choice. Thanks!

My vote for neck knives always will go to the Brous Blades Silent Soldiers. I particularly like the Ranger SS. Any one of them is great though. The Fred Perrin La Griffe is such an amazing knife but seems to be mainly focused on SD usage. The Silent Soldier has many properties of the La Griffe but is more robust and better built for EDC utility tasks. It still has an excellent grind and is a good slicer.

If I was going into the woods or a more rural setting I would probably want a neck knife with a bigger more commonly styled handle like an Izula. The Silent Soldier is better for urban carry.

Spyderco Street Beat . Can get a good whole 4 finger grip . Excellent hideout fighter yet kinda innocent kitchen paring knife look . Pretty too and feels good . ~7.25" OAL . Maybe too big for you but also big enough to actually do some work .

I love carrying a fixed blade around my neck. I still carry a folder but I find this method of carry is the most convenient way to carry a knife (especially a fixed blade).

I have a CRK Professional Soldier and a Hinderer Flashpoint that I use as neck knives. The Flashpoint really is a perfect neck knife as far as size. The CRK is kind of pushing it as far as size but since there are no scales on the handle it's not too heavy and sometimes it is nice to have a bigger 3.5" fixed blade.

Another more price friendly option would be an ESEE Izula. I have a stainless steel model I carry in the same configuration.
