I have a Generation 2 version of the Sting sword from Lord of the Rings that I picked up at least a decade ago. It's a full on combat ready replica, but they didn't do any of the engraving on it...I think I'm going to fix that:)

Did a bunch more practice, then started on Sting...outlines of the work area cut and inked.

That's awfully nice work. I took the NRA course in Gun Engraving when taught at Trinidad Jr. College in Colorado yrs ago. Wish I had continued.

Thanks! My courses were the NRA courses as well, at Lassen college with John Baraclough...23 years ago. No reason you can't pick up where you left off ;).
