is there a version of this knife with a slightly bigger/longer blade? id fall absolutely in love with this knife if it came with a blade over 3.5 inches.

And I would buy one if they made a single-edge version so it's legal to carry in Texas.

wow thats gotta suck. you should move outta texas just so you can carry some double edged knives :P

p.s. i saw a review on this knife saying that only one edge is sharpened.

Daggers are specifically designated within Texas law as illegal. Both edges for 1/2 their length is sharpened as well, on top of the dagger name of the knife.

Both edges are sharpened, just acquired one yesterday and I have to give this dagger a  I actually prefer the size, its discreet, and disappears anywhere on you. I wouldn't change a thing.

benchmade has got a nicely packaged Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP) Knife.
love the sheath that comes with it.
i m just confused about a rival's similar cqb tool variant

left is a custom interpretation by airborne knives

$175.00 LOL try $60 ;)

I have an Airborne Knives "Spike" and I love the knife. While not as compact as the Benchmade SOCP it is very much as capable. Scott Horn from Airborne Knives does awesome work. Just be prepared to wait a while if you order as he is a one man operation (Mine took 6 months), and he gets loads of orders. Yes, both edges are very sharp, and the final variant of the knifge is a little different from the comparison picture of the SOCP and the Spike. The ring is oval, and the knife is a bit wider and longer.
