Hey boys, don't leave me out-Triplets..
Yours is prettier I think
We will give the pretty award to Cudgee...
Just arrived, my new (to me) Soddie. I gave it a few strokes on a bench stone and put it straight to work. Thank you, gentlemen, for the encouragement.
My new Sodbuster's been working hard on some Ahi tuna..

So cool DanThat's it, this thread had gone to the birds !

That is so cool! Did it take a long time to get them to do that? That's it, this thread has gone to the birds !
Nah, can't accept it mate, yours wins hands down. The jigging on yours is much more defined, yours is a really good example of something that Case does really well-Jigging..We will give the pretty award to Cudgee...

I’m in for almost any sodbuster jr. Have they ever used their Kirinite for a Soddy? That would work for me also.Does anybody else wish that Case would make a Sodbuster Jr in CV with thinner Delrin handles?
Oh, I like that! I'm glad this popped up on my radar. They have some other great handle options too.I have been carrying this maserin plow with D2 steel and natural canvas micarta covers for some time now and find it a great work knife. View attachment 1511426View attachment 1511427
Your whiskey bone is thinner than Delrin handles, right, John? Do you prefer the grip/feel of the thinner handles?Does anybody else wish that Case would make a Sodbuster Jr in CV with thinner Delrin handles?
Yes, I prefer the thinner handles on my bone Jr's. But I'd prefer Delrin or wood on my work knives.Your whiskey bone is thinner than Delrin handles, right, John? Do you prefer the grip/feel of the thinner handles?
I don't have a Case Delrin Sodbuster Jr, so I don't know how thick it is, but I wouldn't mind a SBJr handle a bit heftier than those on my bone-handled Case SBJrs.
Feeling good in hand is probably highest priority for me. My pants tend to be sort of loose or baggy anyway, so I don't mind carrying a brick in my pocket (a small brick ).Yes, I prefer the thinner handles on my bone Jr's. But I'd prefer Delrin or wood on my work knives.
I think the Delrin handles are a little too thick for pocket carry. They feel good in hand though.
Perhaps a Delrin cover that's in-between the thin bone and their usual thicker Delrin would be a nice compromise.
