ok i know this is probably not the right place for this post but since I've not gotten any responses to a post I made where it should be I thought I'd give it a try here.

I currently have a SOG Fielder mini and I would like to change the teflon washers out for phosphorus bronze washers.

Had any done this or has any advice for doing this?
I'm not concerned about the warranty as this was an inexpensive. Let me know what you think. I'll have to order the right size washers for the knife but won't know that till after I take it apart and measure them up.

Thanks in advance.

Before you buy the washers, make sure you can loosen the screws. They seem to have been tightened by two men and four hairy boys. I tried to loosen the clip screws to get it apart and proceeded to "eat" my torx bit and damage the screw. I really hate that knife.....

Oh and BTW, the teflon/nylon washers make the deploying of the blade very smooth as it is. I really don't think that adding PB washers will add anything to the deployment, but hey, go for it....I guess.....

I'll second that.
I damaged my knife tinkering with it and the screws, and mine was smooth as I could ask. I can't complain for the price, it was one of my favorite budget folders.

Mine was the large G10 version, though.
