Received a SOG Tac XR today and I have to say I think SOG has been stepping up lately. First the Terminus XR, and now the Tac XR. It's a great knife... really good fit and finish, great action, aesthetics, ergonomics, etc.
All great, except for 1 glaring issue: They used a T6 for the pivot screw!
Maybe they were trying to listen to the knife community and move to using the same size screws throughout the whole knife, but stepping *down* to a T6 instead of stepping *up* to T8's is just mind boggling, especially for a $80 knife that is in their "Professional" line-up and seems designed for (at least mostly) "hard-use".
I guess they just didn't intend it for "hard-maintenance", lol :\
