Sog Trident clip replacement

Wondering if anyone is having issues getting replacement clips from SOG? I have had a Sog Trident for several yrs now and my clip has broken. I sent in a request for a new one about 8 months ago and I have not had any reply from SOG. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I filled out their little online form years ago, several times. Still waiting on those clips for over a decade.

I would tell you to contact them in some other way but I think that might be a waste of time as well. Might be time to upgrade to a better knife, from a company that will stand behind their product.

And I'm not just some SOG hater. Collected the brand for many years. Mostly the older Seki stuff.

From what we've seen with GSM's buyout of Cold Steel, unfortunately things probably won't get any better, and most likely will get worse.

Not sure how things could get worse. I mean, they are already 10 years late shipping a few Flash II clips. Maybe if they sent me a bag of dog poop instead of nothing?

I tried getting a clip from their online form a few months ago, and I didn't hear back I tried emailing their customer service, once again no reply. I eventually got someone on the phone and they were able to send me a clip.

Since then I had another issue, so I've tried filling out their support form online and emailing their customer support. When I didn't have an answer after about a week, I called and tried to ask, but was told to send an email and disconnected. About a week later I read the news that they had been sold.

The redesigned clip for the Terminus XR LTE fits the original Terminus and fixes the pocket snagging issue.

I sent 5 emails regarding a scale grip that fell off my Aegis, they finally responded saying they could not help with any replacement piece since it was discontinued. They offered no other solution or reconciliation. I would have been OK with the answer if they responded without me chasing them down.

Sounds like the "new" SOG under ownership of GSM.
