For sale is a used black Alpha Industries M65 Field Jacket size XS. This is a made in USA military spec genuine M65 jacket that I bought as oldstock several years ago. I believe the seller told me they had been sitting in a warehouse for some time. I can't find any of these black USA made jackets anywhere on the internet, only a very few in other colors/sizes priced at over $120.
This did come with the "DO NOT REMOVE THIS LABEL" care tag in the back that I removed (whoops) after the stitching started coming undone. I do not have the tag. Also the pullstrings on the packable hood broke off the first time I used it. Whatever they were made of didnt fare well in the warehouse storage it seems. Otherwise the jacket is in used but great condition. There are no holes, tears, frays, worn spots, stains, smells or any defects of any kind that I can find. Zippers have been waxed and work smooth, all buttons are accounted for and in working order, same with velcro closures.
I am 5'8" 160lbs. medium build and this jacket fits me very well as I don't prefer overly baggy clothing, just a tad snug in the shoulders. I wore this with the waist strap cinched up how I like it in the photos.
Also included is a matching XS military surplus M65 cold weather liner in good condition. Buttons into the jacket snugly and wears comfy. A couple loose threads here and there and some fraying at the cuffs as pictures but is unnoticeable during wear and doesn't affect usage. No holes or tears. (As a side note: the Chinese made Alpha Industries M65 liners will NOT fit inside these USA made jackets. The buttons won't line up.)
