CPM 3V steel. Carried only a couple times. Have only cut paper with it. Solid lockup and centered blade. I added a Rockscale design backspacer, but original backspacer is included. I purchased at Rivers Edge Cutlery. These sold for $292, and backspacers run $42. These are not a shiny orange. They're a nice muted matte color
