I have for sale today one of my Case 61024 1/2 bare head jacks. I love these little jacks, perfect size for EDC, but I have another. These hard to find 'red bone' Case XX jacks date back to the early years of the company. This knife was manufactured between 1940 and 1964 from what I can determine. The tang is stamped CASE over XX on one side and 61024 1/2 on the other.
This USA made knife has 'red jigged' bone handles with no cracks. I tried to capture the reddish brown adequately in my photos. The blade is carbon steel and takes a really nice edge. It has nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. The clip blade measures 2 3/8" from the bolster. It measures 3" closed.
The knife is solid with good snap open and closed, which has a 1/2 stop. There is some staining and scuffs, fitting for its age, I’ve tried to capture in my photos. It is a solid knife with many years of use left, a really nice piece of history
Price for the knife is $55. I will ship USPS First Class (bubble mailer) with tracking included in the price. PayPal only, I will eat any fees. CONUS only. No trades. First 'I'll Take It' posted in this thread gets the knife.
Thank you for looking!
