Hi Folks!
A new variant on a traditional Scottish Sgian Dubh - the 'Coruisk'. Co-designed with one of my good customers, Cornel Bebie. The 'Coruisk' features a long, slim blade with a high satin sheen finish, a flared, solid bolster, an accent spacer and pommel. The 'Coruisk' has an elegant and dressy feel compared to the my more rustic 'Scavaig' design. The brass bolster is solid and not just a ferrule. Behind the bolster is a spacer of Camelthorn in it's natural color. The handle centre is stabilised Bog Oak. The pommel is contrasting Ebony and features a decorative mosaic pin at the back. The handle pin has been peined, domed and polished to a satin finish with detailed filework on the spine. The sheath is also 100% handmade with saddle stitching and embossing to match the color and feel of the knife.
