Gentlemen,
I've just finished this one up in time for you to treat yourself to an early Christmas present :D
It's W2 steel that has some of the best hamon action that I've been able to produce. The handle is beautiful K&G stabilized Eucalyptus Burl. The blade is 0.098" stock so it is a slicer not a camp knife. It's heat treated with thermal cycling for grain refinement with a resulting hardness of RC62. I'll make a pouch style leather sheath for it.

SPECS:
OAL: 10.5"
BLADE: 5" long, 1.625" wide. It has been hand sanded to 1000 grit and then etched in FeCl and then polished to bring out a vivid hamon. The grind is compound full flat/convex. the edge is down to 0.010" before sharpening. The swedge is unsharpened and the spine and choil are rounded for comfort.
STEEL: 0.098" W2 steel heat treated to RC62 including thermal cycling for grain refinement.
HANDLE: K&G Stabilized Eucalyptus Burl with black micarta liners and pins.
SHEATH: Pouch style leather included.
Price: $SOLD Shipped CONUS
