SOLVED: BladeHQ order stolen. - BladeHQ refunded the entire amount

Update: BladeHQ refunded the entire amount.
Further update: What happened was that the Norwegian costoms took the knives! They did not inform me. I was finally informed when i got served a police report. They had confiscated the knives and reported me to the police. The case got delayed as it was not a priority, I attended a police interregation, and it was dismissed. The knives are legal, so this was either done on purpose by costums, or just plain incompetance. There are arguments for both sides.

Anyway. I am very pleased by the service BladeHQ has provided, even though they were not at fault!

I thought the package was too light so I filmed the opening for evidence.
Anyone else had this happen?

The value that is put on these knives for costums does not match price paid at all:


The QSP parrot was the only knife i got...

I think BladeHQ will get it right for you. Please let us know when they respond. I have purchased a couple of times from them. Excellent packaging and fast shipping.
 
Why did BladeHQ exaggerate the value of the knives?

QSP Sparrow = 28 $
Petrified Fish = 37 $
Honey Badger = 32$
Vosteed Raccoon = 59 $
Civivi Elementum = 40 $
Civivi Elementum II = 65 $
CJRB Pyrite = 50$
BladeHQ puzzle = 0 $

And the values listed on package (see picture): 119$ 32$ 42$ 399$ 24$ 108$ 70$ and puzzle 1$

I'm only guessing but I'm assuming they purchased X amount of insurance and then arbitrarily split it up amongst each item
 
I had a knife missing once before with BHQ and they refunded the amount, and I used it for a new order, annoying but it was fixed. Do let us know how it goes thou, always good to have up to date feedback.

We are so sorry to hear about that, I did find your order and email in our system. When it left our warehouse it looks like it weighed a little over 3 lbs so we are pretty sure it had all the stuff, so the sad news is it was likely stolen or lost along the way. What we can do is refund the order immediately, we will get that process started now. If you would like to re-order the items getting them sent to an alternate address is advised to prevent them from being lost or stolen again.Again apologies for the inconvenience and we will send details on the refund via email.

Can we see the video of opening the package by the OP? I want to see where the thief opened the package such that it's unnoticeable.
 
I have been refunded the entire amount by Blade HQ. They even refunded the QSP Sparrow knife!

This Christmas I had an order go missing with them.I had forgotten about it, tracking showed it cleared customs but was never delivered.Even though it was two months after being shipped BHQ refunded my money in FULL.

It's not great if the company name has Knife,Knives, or Blade in the Sender's Name.Even Pictures of Knives emblazoned on the company shipping boxes.As Thieves these days know what to look for.

On the other hand, other companies that I have dealt with have the employee's name on the package.Seem like a smart thing to do. :)
 
I did have a problem with a BladeHQ order. When I escalated it to management, they went above and beyond to fix the issue. I will order from them again.
