Based on my pleasant experience with a Buck 379 Solo I picked up on impulse, I've decided to get a Buck 305. But I've got some questions.
Question #1: Is it hard to open the smaller blade? I like the idea of a secondary blade, but my experience with small multi-blade slipjoints over the years is that the smaller blades are useless unless you've got something you can use as a lever...
Question #2: I see it available in wood and in valox. Does one age better than the other? Will they both stand up to being in the same pocket as my keys? Which one am I more likely to wish I hadn't gotten 10 years from now?
Thanks!
