Some SAK love

Well thought out mods Jack! Vic needs a designer with your tool selection savvy.

Great EDC’s. Do you have any Ti variants? Most of my Ti SAKs are screwed together which lets me move stuff around. This improves the ability to customize. I’m thinking of anodizing some of the Ti handles to add a little color and improve the scratch resistance.

No titanium. Mine are all made from original Victorinox parts (except the copper scales on one Scientist) obtained by taking apart used SAKs.

Decided to carry my humble Classic today. Still very useful after more than 20 years and new scales. Love this little guy.

That looks good, Mark! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
I may try that, although I don't have a Dremel so I'll have to improvise on the "polish away excess".

Yeah you should be okay with that. I used a mid green on mine. Just Enough to take away that rather bland too new appearance.

My latest acquisition. I wanted a mod so I settled on a Compact as the foundation. Killed the corkscrew and injected an awl into the backside. Able to keep the knife 2 layers and a slim profile. So far, the hook is ok but I'm weighing my options with that thing. The scales and liner are titanium and the copper cross is inlaid. Workmanship is very nice.

Instant colour and character to a too shiny alox Vic Farmer. Take a Sharpie (colour of choice) colour in, wipe vigorously, polish away excess with Dremel polishing attachment. :)

Nifty. I think I've seen that done with nail polish as well.
