I see some great uses for grip tape on some Kershaw knives. What does one obtain some? All I see so far are industrial rolls for $45 or more...

I stole mine from our warehouse. :D
We sell a lot of it, but in big rolls, 2" to 6" width.
I have an order going in next week that has the very conformable
style grip tape on it.
I'm anxious to try it out.

But, I have seen strips of it at home improvement type places like Lowe's and Home Depot.
You can also check the marine shops, if you have such, they normally carry
that kind of tape for decks and trailer fenders.

Waaaaaaaaait a minute. Do you have some that doesnt have the shiny specks in it?

If you do, and you havent attempted to save me from having ghey looking knives that I just so happened to buy from another guys brother, then we have a serious problem mister.

:D

The rubber tape used to wrap the handles on tennis rackets is very near to ideal. You have to cut the non-adhesive edges off ( ya do have a knife -right!) - but just use the center part - nice and grippy without being aggressive or un-comfortable to use. Sticks quit well - and peels right off by just putting your thumbnail under it and lifting.

I have been using the 3M Stair Step tape with excellent results. I get mine by the foot at the local Ace Hardware store.

My local Ace hardware worked out good for getting tread tape. I could buy it by the foot and feel it before choosing what I wanted. Other places just had a huge roll, or else it was sealed up and there was no know exactly what it felt like.

Find a skateboard shop in your area, here the sheets are just a couple bucks.

+1 32 inch long by about 8 or 9 inches wide will be 5 dollars at most shops.

+2 on the skateboard tape. I was able to buy a piece off of their big roll for $2 or something at the local Bycycle/Skateboard shop. I used it on the front strap of my 1911.
