I have the Southern Grind Jackal and Jackal Pup and have been very impressed with the craftsmanship and durability of the blade and the sheath. These are 2 must haves for your field dressing kit. The blade steel is 8670m, scales are G10 with a really cool mill pattern, and the sheaths are kydex which are molded and pressure fitted to the blade.
I love Southern Grind's attention to detail with these two blades. They are functional and durable as hell. Aesthetically, these may be the coolest looking fixed blades on the market. Not that it is needed- but the knives come with lifetime warranty as well.
