Don't have any experience with those, But I sure like the looks of the Large Lumberjack model. Might have to pick one up.

Post a review if you get one. I have been eyeing them for a while, but am too ckicken to part with my money for one until I hear more about them.

Yea the Large Lumberjack looks like the one I'd choose too.
I want a Spetsnaz Survival Machete so bad I can taste it , but I cant find one anywhere :(

If you are interested I will be selling my Russian Spetznatz survival tool on Ebay next week. It is New in the Box with original wrapping and all documentaion including the manual translated.Originally from Sovietski.com. See the seller name PolishEagle1939 for more info. It'll probably go up for sale Monday the 21st.

I picked one up after seeing the post here. It has a rough outer appearance. The handle appears to be green pine and is sticky with a resin. The head was slightly loose due to this. The blade looks to be forged but is in need of a sanding or polishing session. If the steel is as advertised then it will be worth the 43.00 spent after I polish the blade and install a osage orange handle. The weight of it is perfect for the tool it was intended to be used for.

Coupchoux,
It will be several weeks before I can get up to Alabama to my woodshop and put the handle on. Email me at mekusapv@yahoo.com and I will sent the photos to you and you can post them. I think one has to be a paying member to post here. I also have the Danish fireaxe photos I can send you.

Rebel, not a Spetsnaz Survival Machete, but a Russian SARO Expeditionary Machete. Seems to be good too and I prefer the handle which seems to be more stronger.

I like the Small Infantry Shovel, AKA the infamous Spetsnaz throwing shovel! I love my Cold Steel copy of it, the Special Forces Shovel. It's a good thing for me to carry while walking the dogs in my slightly rough neighborhood, in case of two legged varmits bother me and mine. It's been called my "tactical pooper scooper" in other threads, for that reason.

That's got to be the evilest "nonweapon" used as a weapon I've ever heard of. I don't think many things would be nastier than a deep cut filled with dog $hit. Ick!
