Hey everyone. Wanted to introduce myself. I’m a new part time maker based in Maple Ridge, B.C. My name is Donovan and my knife company is called Space Monkey Knives. I’m a one man show though, so don’t let the word company throw you off. I’ve been making knives for two years now. My first year was spent making fixed blades so that I could learn how to grind. But my main goal was and is to make folders. A year ago I gave it a shot and haven’t stopped since.

My folders are all front flippers for now. I use all titanium hardware, ceramic bearings/detent, titanium frames/liners, and scales are made of the usual stuff. Micarta, g10, carbon fiber etc. I currently make liner locks, frame locks and bolster locks. I hope to expand on that sometime in the future. All of my blades are made with CPM20CV and the heat treat done by me.

My knives are 100% hand made so there are some slight differences between each knife. Below are some pictures of my work so far.

I have a Facebook group and an IG page but no website. my books are currently closed but should open sometime in the fall.

Thanks so much for looking.

Man those are beautiful. I can't find your insta and don't have Facebook but want to get in the next book openings... What do I do?

Any chance you're a fan of Jens Anso? I see some design choices that instantly reminded me of what he's done. I, personally, am very impressed and there are some great grinds shown, along with really nice contrasting material choices. Great job sir!
