Hi everyone,
Has anyone posted about spacers to put under the ends of a sharpmaker to change the angles? I have a carpenters angle measuring device so I can measure the angle changes but I’m looking for a few household items I can use as spacers. I’m trying to get to 42 degrees or so.

Hi
20+3 = 23 degrees on the sharpmaker by shimming with a rod under one end

update: if sharpmaker base is 7.5" long ( 190.5mm long)
and a quarter is 1.75mm thick
which is abouts half a degree
to get 22 use 20 setting and add ~4 quarters
4 quarters indeed

Thanks. So if you use four quarters to prop up one end then do you use only one rod at the opposite end and switch the SM around to do left and right sides?
