Zulu Spear on a Northwoods Esky

The Evo uses the same spear as shown below on Vic's 84mm Walker. :)

I like that Robeson, Ironbut Ironbut !! Is the handle profile the same as the Cripple Creek? I know it's Queen made; the old Robesons tapered and were not as blunt butted as the CCs!!
The tp one here is a Queen-made!View attachment 1401086 View attachment 1401087

I think these are all the Queen made barrows I have. It's hard to tell from this angle but the ends of the handles on the Queen on top & the Robeson spear below it are slightly more rounded off, but the bolsters are all square & beveled like Queens.

I had this Northfield #26 out for another thread this morning. If you can forgive the repeat posting of this photo, I think you’ll definitely agree this one has a very capable little spear blade. It’s not bad to look at either! ;)

Worthy example in any thread my friend :thumbsup:

Here are a couple I picked up at a flea market. I paid $5 for the Kutmaster & $3 for the Schrade. The edges need cleaned up & both have some blade wobble, but they have a few more good years left on them. It's rare to find an old knife around here that the blades haven't been mostly ground away with a coarse bench grinder.
