I'm using JB Weld. I know it isn't west systems. But curious if a little heat is added will it decrease the setup time any, or is it not enough to really matter?

I have read on more then one product that adding heat to speed curing time will yield a weaker bond, unless its below room temperature in your shop

Actually, unless they're changed it, real JB Weld (the original formula, not the quick set stuff) is really pretty decent epoxy. I don't use it because it is usually in those little tubes and is pretty expensive per oz and I don't want the grey line it leaves, I don't think there is anything really wrong with it.

Yes, heat will make it set up faster. The effect is significant, just don't over do it.

Thanks gents. I just put some bolsters on and want to get the g10 on. But if it weakens the bond I'll leave it
